New midwife in our practice

My name is Shirin Borst. I graduated from the midwifery academy in Amsterdam in 2018 and since then I have enjoyed working in the Leiden region. I was drawn to everything related to pregnancy and birth since childhood. I already worked for this practice in 2019 when Esther was on her first maternity leave. It was a great time! I am returning with a lot of enthusiasm. In the meantime I completed the Evidence Based Practice master’s degree and became the mother of a son myself (June 2022). I have experienced how special it is to be pregnant, to give birth and to care. I wish everyone in the family a good start in is valuable period full of opportunities. Customized care is very important in my opinion. I’d love to be there for you!
