In our practice we offer the ‘pregnancy e-mail update’ to our pregnant women. This is a weekly e-mail containing medical information about the developments in your pregnancy and information about midwifery care in Leiden and the surrounding area. Sign up via this link.

Informational evenings are organised for (future) parents in the area. These meetings are set up in collaboration with the LEO midwifery practices in the area, the Centrum voor Jeugd en Gezin (child healthcare centre) and GeboorteHuis Leiden. The meetings are meant to help you and your partner to be well-prepared and properly informed.

The evenings are organised around themes. Important subjects related to parenthood, pregnancy, delivery, and the postpartum period are dealt with.

24 weeks of pregnancy – informational evening about parenthood at and by the CJG (in Dutch!), Rhijngeesterstraatweg 13b, Oegstgeest. Planned dates: see this link, You may also attend meetings at another location.

28 weeks of pregnancy – informational evening about the perception of pain and a tour of GeboorteHuis Leiden, sign up via this link. All dates are cancelled but when you subscribe you receive the hand-out of the presentation in your mailbox. You can also take a virtual tour of GeboorteHuis Leiden.

32 weeks of pregnancy –informational evening about the delivery in the CJG (in Dutch!), imparted by us, the midwives. Location: Rhijngeesterstraatweg 13b, Oegstgeest. Sessions will start at 19:30.
