Farewell and welcome

Last week were the last working days of our assistant Marja Imthorn. She will start with a new job. We are very grateful for her six years of loyal commitment to our practice! And we wish her a lot of luck with her new job, and hope to keep meeting her as ‘kraamverzorgster’ at home deliveries and at GeboorteHuis Leiden 🙂

In Marja’s place we welcome Marieke van der Plaat! Today is her first working day. In September she will work almost full-time and from October a second assistant will reinforce her.

She is happy to introduce herself to you:

‘My name is Marieke van der Plaat and from the summer of 2019 I will be working as assistant in this practice. In 2009 I graduated as a midwife and worked for 5 years in the region of Leiden. In 2014 I changed my course and worked as a book fund coordinator at the Vlietland College in Leiden. Currently I work as manager of Resto VanHarte Leiden and I am starting up my own business. Maternity care is and remains an important part in my life and I am happy to deliver my contribution to good maternity care. I look forward to support the midwives and to welcome you in this practice.’

We are looking forward to a good collaboration with Marieke!
